I recently noticed that LH is now sending its A330-300's to ATL for the daily LH445/LH444 rotation.

Is that here to stay? Would this be considered an upgrade in service that route?

Also, any LH insiders know if this means the return of F-Class service on the ATL route

from a passenger point of view there is really no difference between the 333 and the 343 (except the only 2engines when looking out of the window). the configuration is the same.

No major difference except that the toilets in the front cabins have windows on the 333, whereas they don't on the 343.

LH have been getting new A333's lately, are they using the 4 engined aircraft, where the range is needed. Seemed strange to me that the last 2 times, I was @ BOS (2005 & 2007) there was allways an LH A343 there. A bit much of an aircraft for such a medium haul route.

BTW when did LH get the first A333 ??

Cargo maybe. The flexibility to send either A333 or A343 however you can optimize the yield is no disadvantage.

I hear you, but the reason I wondered is, I thought the A333 had no trouble with a full belly and cabin on this 7hour+ trip ??

Hence my question about when LH first got the A333, did they simply not have enough of them??? Where they more urgently needed elsewhere???

Golli.

Is this a permanent change and are they now going to have year-round F-Class on the flight?
