This thread series has reached another milestone: THIRTY EDITIONS in just over three years!

Had been working on a write-up featuring COCESNA and its handling of the regional airspace above FL200 which was turning out pretty nicely, but unfortunately the autosave feature played a little nasty trick at the last minute and ruined the whole thing. Too frustrated to start all over from scratch, so for now the links to the previous CentAm threads will have to do...

TA LIM-LPB is likely its best credit in Bolivia. This route was operated in the past by LB and PL, both no longer in services.
The mentioned route is also part of the commercial agreement between TA/AV.

That's surprising. Why is AM going scheduled on MEX-SJO now? I know they used to fly charters to SJO in the past.

Why is AM going scheduled on MEX-SJO now?

In my view, it's like a response to Mexicana. In the past months, MX MEX-SJO increased their frequencies as well as MX CUN-SJO commenced in December. Rumor has it that MX would develop a new hub in Cancun.
AM operated miserably in both Managua and San Pedro Sula from [2007-2009] and they're now betting for flights aiming to Costa Rica.
I had posted some figures on the forum last year showing the amount of passengers on TA/LR SJO-MEX. The numbers of [TA SAL-MEX plus TA GUA-MEX] were quite similar as TA/LR SJO-MEX.

Copa Airlines is by far the largest operator at PTY. Considering its upcoming brand new fleet and the expansion plans of the airline, the new development at PTY may benefit mostly to CM.

@ PTY, thanks to CM Hub of the Américas, the north concourse and the planned south concourse are desperately needed yesterday.
I don't know of any CM passenger flight aicraft which has to do remote parking at the old terminal, but I guess if it hasn't happened yet, it'll soon.

Yes from US$ 20 to 40 , the increase is needed to pay for the expansion since the previous administration managed to almost bankrupt the airport. They decided to give away millions from the lease of the duty free concessions to local communities, this just after the ruling party of the time, lost the election.

Nothing official yet. It has rumored in the past the launch of P5 BOG-SJO as response for the TA/AV expansion in Central America.
AV BOG-SAL has been also discussed before considering the existence of BOG and SAL as hubs for TA/AV grouping.
Both [BOG-SJO] and [BOG-LIM] are getting duplicity in the services offered for the mentioned group and [BOG-SAL] is the most abandoned segment for them by now.

Both GUA and TGU have been mentioned as part of the Central American scenario.
