B-HMX, -HMY, -HMZ.
The easiest way to tell these 3 apart from the rest of Cathay's 340's is the one blanked-off window in the middle of the section between the first and second doors. Also, since their cabins are configured differently, they are pretty much restricted to flights within Asia.

I believe that these 3 aircraft do not have in flight rest areas for the crew (The cockpit crew anyway) so they will not be out onto long-haul flights by cathay. Go to KUL. BIN, BKK and places like that and you will see them. They have to PTVs either, so get many complaints from PAX, therefore CX limit them to short flights.

I have been on Cathay's leased A340's and I can tell you the pax on the plane was not happy, these planes did not have PTV's (we were flying from KUL-HKG)! They were not happy because they gave out newspapers (hong kong's "South China Morning Post") and on the front page there was a Cathay Pacific advert with a picture of a man having his meal infront of a PTV. the add said "Your own personal TV in every class, in every seat, on every plane"
