Someone had to buy those things, right?

But in all seriousness, I think it's a pretty neat idea that more airlines (especially LCCs) should consider in leiu of more complicated IFE systems. I probably wouldn't use it personally since I already have my DSi (and will probably get a PSP eventually) but for someone who doesn't, it's a good way to pass the time. I know JL used to rent out handheld versions of the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive on overseas flights, and video games are a much bigger market than they were back then. If it didn't catch on in 1994, I'm sure it could today, especially with consoles relying more on digital content so that the airline doesn't need to worry about cartridges, etc. plus they have music and video content as well as games.
