Makes sense. I suppose they JAT worked out their issues with EK regarding interlining etc. And yes, Dubai/Sharjah has far more Serbians than Abu Dhabi.

From what I heard there was not nearly that many pax on DXB-Australia flights on Etihad as there was before on EK.
Furthermore EK seems to have worked out their issues with JU, which is also getting the B737-700, enabling it to fly directly BEG-DXB, instead of stopovers at LCA or BEY as it has previously done.
I personally think it is great news, but I also fear that sooner or later EK might decide to fly to BEG, in which case JU will have a tough time filling up their birds to DXB.
