Nice to see BEY regain some service to Europe it had lost a few years back. Hopefully BEY will see once again regular service to other European cities such as VIE, ZRH, MAD, AMS and BRU.

exactly.....which is not remotely near what Sabena used to offer (up to 5 weeklies during the summer)

Any other routes being considered; it had been rumoured that they were considering a return to DUB.

Heard also today, incidentally, that the Polish Treasury is considering two bids for LO.

Finally, with the 735s and 734s becoming a litttle long in tooth, I was wondering if/when LO was going to go down the Embraer 190/195 route; the 195 would surely be a perfect replacement for the 735.

I've read on www.pb.pl that there were three bidders (two from private equity and one airline group) to acquire shares by adding to existing equity. The airline group is rumored to be AF/KLM.

Their long term plans according to their website (www.lot.com) states both 190/195 and 737NG. The CEO said that they want to replace ATR either with a newer model or Q400. Part of compensation for late delivery of 787s is to be spent on updates to 767 cabins.
