The only aircraft allowed to sport Olympic images are those by Olympic sponsors. AC is a sponsor not WestJet. And besides with only 25 days left before the games it would seem rather late to be promoting it. By the time the aircraft is painted, finished and certified it will only be in the air a few days before the event starts. Perhaps another sponsorship or indeed a new livery.

Quoting Petteri (Reply 1): From the comments there this looks like it might be a special livery for the Winter Olympics.
Doubt it. As mentioned earlier, Air Canada is already the official Olympic sponsor.... and they have an Olympic livery already, don't they? Wouldn't make sense for it to be introduced just a few weeks before the Games were supposed to open, either.
I'm hearing that it's going to be a one-of, special livery to promote WestJet's their "Because Owners Care" marketing identity or their service guarantee, the "Care-entee."
