It got we wondering who got their slots, since they obviously did not transfer to WN or else WN would be at DCA I would think. Or do they all just go back into the pool and get meted out by MWAA in the next round of slot allocations?

Quoting FlyPNS1 (Reply 1): IIRC, FL got just about all of them. FL had about 6 pairs of their own to start with, they then picked up about 4 pairs from ATA and finally 2 pair from CO (as part of last years swap).
Thanks for the info. However, if slots do not transfer with a merger/acquisition (IIRC there is a clause about that somewhere that screwed AA out of TWA's LAX slot), why do they allow swaps?

Normal slots can be transferred; Air-21 slots can not, which is what all 24 of the beyond perimeter slots are. Certain within-perimeter slots are Air-21 slots as well (DLs DCA-JAN/LEX) and as such, can not be transferred.
