Flying home to LGA tonight from Tampa via Atlanta, and looked online to check if the flights were on time, and it has 757-300's as the equipment on both legs (I hadn't noticed it when I booked). How long have the 757-300's been operating through ATL?

It's a glitch in the DAL system, and is really a 757-200. They are having issues with a lot of aircraft types displaying wrong at the moment. More info on Reply 15 here: Are Delta Planning To Drop Any MEM Flights? (by Varig_dc10 Jan 23 2010 in Civil Aviation)

Yeah, I saw the same thing. The MD88's are also showing up as "Boeing (Douglas) MD88" now.
Speaking of the topic though, I think the 753 could be a good choice for some of the ATL-Florida runs...

Understatement for sure.... that little glitch has 757-300's all over the system in Florida too.

The best I saw was an ATL-HNL flight on a Saab 340B! Now that would be a long, noisy flight.

Smaller aircraft for better yield management...
Most gorgeous aircraft: Tu-204-300, 757-200, A330-200, 777-200LR, 787-8

I am seeing select RJ flights listed as the CRJ 1000! Last I checked neither DL nor NW have/had the CRJ1000.

So what's causing the computer glitches? Is this only Delta? Maybe something to do do with the merger? I think they might be doing maitenence on the sight.

This past weekend (Jan. 23-Jan. 24) they merged all the Northwest reservations into the Delta system, and next weekend they are shutting down the Northwest reservation system and Northwest website.

I saw the same glitch looking at the seat map for an ATL - PDX flight a week ago. The list showed as a 753 but the chart, and actual flight, were a 752.

Some glitch, could understand the systems not properly identifying a/c in each others stable when combined, but a 777-300ER showing up says its more than just their fleet identification.

We wish.
I don't think CMH has seen 757-300? Hopefully one day.

What a shame. I hope the new combined system prooves to be a user friednly as the old NWA system. Just a week ago I booked on NWA.COM because I could not find what I was looking for at Delta....

I saw the same thing checking my FRA-DTW flight. But the seat map was correct for the 76L.
