Yes that is true, they now only have 2 A320s left. They are being replaced by B737-800s (they now have 11 of them IIRC) What is strange is that they are still keeping the B737-200s. It would have made way more sense to keep and A320s instead of the B737-200s. But then again, this is no SAA, the obvious doesn't allways happen. To add more fuel to the fire, there are rumours that they may get A321s instead of the rest of the B737-800 order. Strange to say the least....
The had a B777 which was cancelled. They are currently considering the A340-500 and A340-600 to replace the B747SP, B747-200 and the B747-300.
I just love SAA, they are definitely one of my favourite airlines along with Swissair.
