Greetings. I will be flying soon on Air India from Delhi to London. Can anyone tell me the airplane typos, and the food on the aeroplane? What kind of movie they have on the plane? How is the legspace? Thanks very much.

The aircraft used will be the B747-437B. If you let us know the exact date of your trip, I will find out which specific one it is and give you more details.

The food on AI is exceptional in all classes of service. There will be a choice of at least 4 entrees in economy class (Indian Veg, Indian Non-Veg, Western Veg, Western Non-Veg) and more in the premium classes.

The entertainment in the main cabin will consist of a 30 minute BBC news segment immediately after takeoff, followed by an hour long video magazine in English, a 2 hour Hindi movie, an hour long Hindi video magazine, a 2 hour English movie, a 2 hour multilingual entertainment program and finally a short video about Heathrow and London. The Skyshow will be featured at all times when nothing else is being screened.

Legroom on the B747-437B ranges from 60" in First Class to 47" in the reconfigured Business Class to 36" in the B zone to 32" in the C, D and E zones. The B zone seats are arranged in a 3-3-3 configuration and are wider than those in the other zones which are 3-4-3. If you can obtain an advance seat assignment in B zone, I suggest you do so.
