Today at work I was looking over some aerial photography we shot of the Dallas metro area earlier this spring. I was examining the photos of Dallas Love Field and noticed two aircraft there that I would like to know who they belong to. There is an all-white L-1011 sitting near the cargo area as well as a cargo 737. Who owns these?
I was at Love Field back in April and I did not notice either aircraft there....of course I probably wasn't looking very hard either.
Just for fun, here's a photo of the Executive Terminal that Legend Airlines used. They stopped service in Nov 2000 I think....this photo is from February 2, 2001. I believe all of their aircraft are still there...

The L1011 belongs to Yasser Arafat and is being stored at DAL because he hasn't payed taxes on it. As far as the 737 goes, I think there are some freighter conversions at DAL. I have seen TWA 767s for freighter conversions.
Give me a break, I created this username when I was a kid...

I had heard via unconfirmed sources that the L1011 pictured is, in fact, Yassir Arafat's. I was still living in Dallas when his aircraft was seized and I remember the news showing a Lockheed Jetstar quarantined near KC Aviation hanger at DAL. Perhaps Yassir had to trade in the "hot-rod" for a more "family-style vehicle"
