Airport, the reality show is making a comeback to BBC America. If you have DirecTV, EchoStar or if your Cable provider offers it, you can watch it 6:00 - 7:00 AM - or rather tape it then and watch it later starting this week.

Also, does anybody know if Season 2 was ever made, and if it will ever make it way into the American market?

Thanks  Big thumbs up

It is a very popular show in the Uk and they have produced 5 seasons so far, with a new one planned for later this year

I don't know about when they will be shown in US.

They do have an official website :

'Airport' is indeed a good tv-show. They also showed it here on Belgian television. In fact, the show was so popular that they decided to do a similar show about Brussels Airport, EBBR. This show, of course, was as popular as 'Airport'

Well just to let you know that the new series of Airport is due to be broadcasted at the end of May at the earliest. Im sure I heard that there's going to be eleven episodes. Hopefully it will follow a different range of Airlines not just the big guns.

Airport was a really good TV program. I didn't know it was shown in so many places around the world! Interestingly on Channel 4 in the UK they did a program like Airport but based on Lagos airport in Nigeria, it was quite good.

Hash,

"Lagos Airport" was hilarious, and I actually thought it was better than "Airport".

So, so many things went wrong, and so many fights/bribes/sweaty faces/cockroaches/thieves/you-name-it!! Big grin Big grin

One episode showed the BA cabin crew training future Nigeria Airways crew at a hotel-really interesting.

Another showed a baggage handler about to load unaccompanied baggage on to a BA jet! The BA manager caught him just in time!!

Brilliant series, "fascinating" and utterly chaotic airport.

Sabena_A340:

The show I was talking about, was aired on 'TV1', the flemish public TV-channel. The exact name of the show was (in dutch of course): 'Het leven zoals het is: Luchthaven'.

I think they showed it somewhere between october and december last year, so at the end of 2000!

One of the main characters, his first name was Jimmy, was really awesome and funny!
