EasyJet And Jet2 - Passengers Using TLV...

I was looking at booking a break to Israel and was looking at the flight prices with easyJet from Luton and they looked very favourable compared to the prices of El Al who they directly compete against...

I understand easyJet and Jet2 another UK carrier flying to TLV all operate their flights from Terminal 1 at the airport, which is primarily the domestic terminal at Ben Gurion Airport. But reading on the airports website it states passengers check in at T1 and are then bussed to T3 closer to the departure time...

Does this add much inconvenience to what I have heard is already a long and complicated procedure to TLV airport, due to the additional but highly necessary security checks?
(I have not travelled from TLV, and happy to be corrected if the above statement I have made, is incorrect.)

What is the benefit to both these airlines making the passengers use T1, but the aircraft is actually arriving and departing from T3?

I assume it might be cheaper for these airlines to be using T1, or perhaps there are space issues at T3 (too busy around the times of these flights).

The security, check in and border control are the same, but in stead if you leaving you to board directly from T1, they bus you directly to the great shopping area of T3 so you don't miss out on the fun
It's not such a hassle.
