Quoting PeachAir (Thread starter): Anyone know why there were 8 CRJ200's in United Express colors at the ASA Hangar at ATL Friday? All of them I could see had N***AS registrations.
ASA was selected for United Express service. In order to provide that service, ASA had to paint their planes into United Express colors.
Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.

ASA was awarded a contract to do flying out of IAD and ORD. I think that the eventual total is 13 or 14 CR2s

Are thiese 13 birds just replacing Mesa flying that is going away on a one to one basis? Or is this an expansion of service? I also know that XJET ERJ's are coming United's way too. Will United have a net gain of UAX aircraft in 2010? Is there any new E170's coming online this year?

As of right now, no new E170's from Shuttle America.

No Expansion. Replacement for Mesa. The only expansion UA has been doing with anything, including Express, is adding more CRJ-700's at SkyWest and GoJet.
