AAL28 HNL-SFO Going Back To HNL?

Father is on AAL28 and flightaware shows that it pulled a 180*.

They're going 529kts going West as well.

If anyone knows what's up, let me know.

Be aware flightaware is not accurate often and has many glitches. Hope all is ok though.

Checking SABRE, the flight just passed the 1/2 way point. If they were to "divert" it would be to the west coast.

I understand that all flight trackers have their flukes, but I've had really good luck with flightaware and for about 15 minutes it showed it going back to HNL--thus the post.
