For all you locals. If you around this morning you will notice that UA has a 777 stuck in the mud off taxiway Charlie. It was under tow from "Super Bay" around 4:30a local and was pushed back to tight during the turn. Obviously no injuries, but it's 2 feet into the mud. A recovery team is on sight and hope to have the plane moved by noon. This is mostly effecting the GA a/c from Signature that use the intersection Echo departure off 28R.

Sorry, I couldn't get close enough for a reg.! It's moved and I believe working a flight this afternoon, so all is well.

LOL Joe and his cigar could do anything!

I've seen planes get mired before, usually taxiing. The ugliest was a cargo 741? didn't stop and the nose gear slid off the runway at Ramstein AB. Luckily I was off duty and didn't have to help ramp unload it. All the cargo had to come off before it was moved.

I guess better to be stuck in the mud than stuck in the water!

And no damage is even better, mud cleans up better than bent structural components.
