Air China Orders 20 A320

Air China has ordered 20 A320 family aircraft for delivery between 2011 and 2014. Reads as this is part of the large order placed on 2008 and sounds like a firm order.

Wonderful news. Looks like they aren't going to carry out that threat to boycott companies involved in the arms sale to Taiwan afterall!  

Edit: I wonder what I was thinking. This is Airbus, not Boeing!

They are talking about adding capacity by 5%, so this seems to be growth-minded.

These aircraft are for growth in South West China (yunnan province), and opening a hub at Chengdu.
