747-8 Is The US-built Aircraft With Highest Mtow?

According to this Popular Mechanics article, the 747-8 has a higher MTOW (975,500 lbs) than the C-5 Galaxy.

It appears that the C-5B has an MTOW of 840,000lb, which is obviously less than the 747-8. What about the C-5M, however?

Looks like they flew the C-5M with a 865,000 takeoff. Can't see anything on a revised MTOW.
