Due to the eruption of volcano Soufriere Hills in Montserrat (MNI), airports in PTP & ANU had to shut down yesterday afternoon (11FEB) due ash clouds and projections.
A large partial dome collapse at Soufrière Hills volcano, beginning at 12:35P LT and lasting 55 minutes. Pyroclastic flows descended to the north-east and reached the sea, and the resulting ash plume reached 50,000 feet a.s.l. (15,240 metres).
Flights to ANU & PTP had to divert to FDF or PUJ
But it seems that the ashes going south (DOM & FDF)
