This takes the cake....I am not sure which is worse, the clashing logo against the scheme or promoting cupcakes to America!

promoting cupcakes to America!

They are doing this so that people gain weight and they have to purchase a second seat!!   It is a form of revenue enchancement.
Now only FL would do a MIlwaukee Brewers or Green Bay Packers logo jet.

That is terrible.

What's next? NASCAR type sponsorships on the sides of aircraft...??? We already found out that doesn't pan out too well --- Where did SkyBus go???

Are we going to have the #3 painted on the sides of planes?

Don't get me wrong, I'm from Alabama and like NASCAR, but this goes over the top.

Disgraceful. What a sad testament to how far our industry has fallen. I've never been a fan of logo jets in the first place but really hate the "flying billboards". That thing looks like a city bus.

Perhaps FL is becoming the new Western Pacific. Still, logo jets are a source of advertising revenue, so I expect to see more.

This is the worst of the worst of the worst logo jets I've ever seen. AirTran needs more work on trying to do a logo jet. They should talk to AS or US on how to do them.

1) Advertisements on the sides of the skybus aircraft had nothing to do with their demise.
2) I'd much rather have an airline sell the outside of their aircraft for advertising income rather than the inside of the aircraft.

Please tell us how this is "over the top" ....what if this (and other advertisements on the sides of their planes) enables you to pay less for your ticket? Is it over the top then?

I'm not sure if you were implying that the McDonald's theme jet was on a 717 (it wasn't), but to avoid confusion, this plane is/was on a Crossair MD80.

I wouldn't want to see a McDonalds livery on any American airliner!

I believe that he just referring to the scheme itself being applied to a FL 717 and only showed the Crossair MD-80 photo as a scheme visual only.

Whether a McDonalds logo or scheme would appear on another airliner would be dependent upon a contract/sponsor agreement between a carrier and McDonalds.

If Go Daddy pays FL what they are asking I see no reason why not.

You ask them to paint a plane in your screen name and if you offered enough $$$ they would say yes. As long as Western is not trademarked yet.
