Breaking: Alitalia Jet In Cairo, Bomb Threat

Just coming out now, an Alitalia flight has been evacuated at Cairo due to a phoned in bomb threat.

157 passengers, including Egyptian Tourism minister. Airport under a state of emergency/

Hopefully all works out well; presumably the airport and the airline have well practiced drills for dealing with this kind of event.

Was the AZ aircraft a 321?

I would preserve the term "Breaking (News)" only for situation when something DOES happen, be it positive or negative.

Huh? "Breaking news" is a phrase used to indicate news that is, as the name implies, just breaking. This news was breaking as the OP posted this. Your arbitrary definition of what breaking news is, is not indicative of reality.
