Are there any websites that offer ways to listen to various ATC chatter from different major airports? I am tracking my dad's flight from DCA-DTW and I thought it would be kinda cool to listen to the tower as he is on approach.

Thanks, but what sucks is it doesn't cover big airports like DTW!

Yeah, wish somebody would set one up. We also lost our MSY feed last year and keep hoping somebody would get it going again.

It covers plenty of big airports, JFK, ORD, and DFW are just some of the several covered airports in the US that come to mind.

Cheers

Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

Yeah, I'm finding that out as I explore it. The ones I haven't been able to get into are DTW and ATL so far.

Jw, what's the point of the law that forces them to delay all streams by 5 minutes? If an evil-doer really wanted to cause some harm, they would probably buy a scanner radio, so security doesn't seem to be the issue.

There was a thread a while ago where the owner of the site confirmed that there is no intended delay on the streams.

There is about 10 sec delay from transmission to when you hear it on the internet, not that bad.
