Maybe I'm behind the times on this one, but I saw a Jet Blue A320 at LaGuardia today with a combo Yahoo and Blackberry ad on it's fuselage. Are airlines gonna go down that path. I may quickly lose my love of commercial aviation if that really gets going. It'll ruin one of the things that keeps so many of us infatuated with this hobby...great liveries. I know they want to make money every way they can, but this on a widespread basis would really be sad. The local commuter rail service here in NJ is selling advertisements on their rail cars and it looks horrible. Is anything sacred anymore, or is it all for sale. Here's to hoping this was a one-off.

That aircraft is BetaBlue, the first (and currently only) aircraft in the JetBlue fleet to have some degree of in-flight wi-fi. Those logos are promoting the partners of the project.

There are numerous airlines that have had advertising on the side of planes before, its nothing new. I still recall some FR liverys when they had 732's, and they still do it now I believe.
