Just wondering, since they're both in STAR, why don't NZ fly to BKK? Or at least code-share with TG on the AKL-BKK flight?? Wouldn't it make sence?? I mean, they're missing out on a huge market...

what do you think?

You can fly to BKK on Air NZ by connecting to an SQ flight in Singapore.
However, Thai and NZ will soon be starting codeshare arrangements. NZ pulled out of BKK in about 1996/7, as I recall.

TG992 is right. They pulled out of Bangkok in 1998 when the Asian Crisis hit.
There was a rumour going around that they were going to start back flying there. But it now looks like they are going to Code-share.
There is also a rumour going around that they are going back to Seoul-Incheon.

Cheers

Will Thai ever fly into CHC apart from when AKL is closed due to fog.

To be honest Kiwi dave I don't think TG will return to CHC at least not in the near future as TG fly daily to AKL. If Air NZ and Thai start codesharing I think you will probably be able to connect to NZ at AKL with a codeshare with TG domestically.

Scott.

I think that 3 times a week would be great useing 773 and if they did start CHC services then make it an extension of either MEL or BNE.
