I was flew into PIT about a month ago around 9pm. As we were taxiing to the gate, I saw a UPS 727 parked at the passenger terminal with the gate at the aircraft door (I think it was at the international terminal...but i'm not totally sure about that). Does anyone know why that 727 was parked at the passenger terminal? Thanks!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Probably doing a charter run for a tour company. I hear they convert their 727s to pax mode on weekends to sell seats. Another rumour says that this practice will come to an end real soon.

It's not a rumor that the pax charters are ending......it's a fact.

How many 727s does UPS have in a pax config? Here is another example I think.
