SQ 777-300 9V-SWT Flight SIA61 experienced trouble in engine #2 and had to abort the takeoff. According to a ramper there, the problem happened soon after application of takeoff power and it didn't get very far down the runway. The plane was still at IAH as of yesterday, doing engine runs and going in and out of Continental maintenance hangar.

I didn't see it at the hanger this morning...so it must have resolved itself......

Were the pax put on other flights or sent to hotels?

When in doubt, hold on to your altitude. No-one has ever collided with the sky.

Well, we were thinking a 744 would be nice.
