I know most of the SFO people out there have probably been here, but just hear me out while I brag about this new place I found to watch taxiing airplanes.
Just past the observation area off of Milbrae Ave., slightly down McDonnell Rd, off to the side along the fence, I stood watching planes today. Two days ago, I actually went inside the "construction" area along McDonnell Rd. but was asked by the cops to leave, I think cause my car was parked on the side of the road about 1 inch from traffic. Anyways, I had passengers and pilots waving to me today. I guess I wont go into that construction area anymore, but you can still get a great glimpse of the planes taxiing just before take off. I was jet blasted a few times and the 1st officers of a Sun Country 722, NW DC10, and a UA 777 waved. It was cool. Does anybody know what that construction is around that area?
