About a week ago, I was flying out of SJU after a wonderful vacation. I was on a CO 739ER sitting on the right side. And as we started rolling on runway 8, I saw it parked in an area that is hidden from the main terminal. Anyone have any idea why it could be there? I may be wrong but I'm almost positive I saw it.

I've seen them @ OAK as well. Think they do some sort of MX in the Bay area. Also saw a 727 in Kingfisher colors there once, but was told by Indian friends that it was used by the brewery and not by the airline.

That should be A319CJ VT-VJM, which is used by UB Group and Vijay Mallya the chairman.

It can be a pretty frequent visitor around the globe and also here in California where Mr. Mallya maintains a residence.

If I'm not mistaken, the 727 is his private jet as well.

= Dr. Mallya is an Indian citizen. His son has either an American passport or permanent residency. I will ask.

Saludos,
A.
