Is Alitalia Interested In Some Of BA's 747-400s?

I read that Alitalia might buy up to 5 BA 744s. Could it be possible? Would the RR engines fit inside an intire GE fleet of planes?

I don't think it's possible cause before order 6 B777/200er they had an old order for 5 B747/400 that they cancelled.

Alitalia placed an order of 744 because of the alliance with KLM. Then, after the end of the alliance, Alitalia decided to convert the order of 747 in 777.
