Codeshared Flights Not Offered On LY Website. Why?

When booking flights between GVA and TLV on the SWISS website, I get a wide choice of flights to select from, including all the codeshared flights operated by El Al. For instance, on the relevant days, I can choose between the nonstop GVA-TLV / TLV-GVA flight or the 4 daily connections via Zurich (2 on Saturdays). In total, the number of flights offered is 29 per week, and the trip can be booked for any day of the week.

When I try to organize the same trip on the El Al website, I can select only El Al flights operated by El Al planes. This means, in the case of GVA, that the choice is limited to merely 3 flights a week. And the trip can take place only on Sundays, Tuesdays or Thursdays (for both directions)...

This seems very strange. Why is it impossible to book a flight operated by a codesharing partner through the El Al website while the opposite is possible?

I bitterly miss the livery that should never have been changed (repetition...)
