I was examining a fare quote on Air Asia premium seats for October/November for Kuala Lumpur to Stanstead and return, when I noticed that the passenger charges increased from MYR650 to MYR1000 from November 1.
I was wondering if this is due to any increases raised by Stanstead airport or by the British goverment or even by AirAsia?

I too was looking through their offers and the first thing which sprang to mind was that they must be hurting, their grand sale, isnt so much of a grand sale from the UK at least. £94 in fare and £95 in taxes is not excellent, and some of the 1 stop return deals compete strongly with this if one were to purchase a return. I am dissapointed in their sale offering, I was expecting flights between £100-£150
Also, was it not the case for Air Asia (following a huge marketing campaign) for the price you see, is the price you pay, i.e. all inclusive flight quotes? It seems to me they have backtracked somewhat or at least gone the FR way in pricing through the website.
P.S. Premium business seats are charged a premium APD departing from the UK, with long haul being significantly higher n charges than shorter haul.
