First Air Ceases Service To Whitehorse

Today First Air sent an email to all customers on the First Air distribution announcing a March 2010 cessation of service to Whitehorse.

FROM THE FIRST AIR WEBSITE:
Effective March 27, 2010, First Air will no longer be providing scheduled service to Whitehorse. Thank you to all of our Whitehorse customers for your patronage over the years. First Air will continue service between Fort Simpson and Yellowknife. The schedule for these routes will change as of March 29, 2010 as follows:

Interesting news. Wouldn't surprise me though, we do the ground handling for First Air here and I've rarely seen more than 10 or 15 people getting on/off that ATR (although I'm only around for maybe one of the three weekly flights.)
