During 1979 they were operating Concorde, One-Eleven, VC-10, Boeing 707, Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Trident, Tristar, H.S.748, Viscount and Vanguard (Merchantman) at the same time (the 737's were leased however). Since they started rationalising the fleet ready for privatisation in the early '80's I'd guess that this is probably around the peak.

Ten years later (1989-1990 time) the fleet was almost just as varied. A320, 737, 747, 757, 767, DC-10, TriStar, 1-11, Concorde, and that was just mainline!
