Hey TimothyJ6767:
While you are correct that the FedEx logo is based on a futura bold font, some liberties were taken by the graphic designer who created the logo so that there is a subliminal forward facing arrow. Do you see it?
If you were to try and reproduce the logo using the futura bold typeface, it would not look right because of the arrow. Do a photo search now before I tell you where it is if you haven't already found it.
Yep, the subliminal arrow is located in the white space between the letters "E" and "x".
As for the "The World on Time" slogan, that one is harder to pin down. To wit, there are two versions. One in standard sans-serif, non-italiicized letters (like you find on N554FE) and a serif version in italics (like you find on N763FE). You can do a search in the photo engine to see what I mean.
Unfortunately, I don't have the time to create a .jpg of just the slogan but if you do, try a website called "WhatTheFont" at: http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
Good luck!
