Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows if Monarch are sending any of their widebodies down to the Canaries this summer? Im hoping to get to TFS and I'm also hoping to try and get on one of the A330's. I've been on the A300's and plenty of B763's so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an A330! Any info would be muchly appreciated!

Are Monarch getting another A330 then do you know? I was under the impression they leased the B763 to fill the gap until they could get another new Airbus. I think there may have been an A330 operating LGW-ACE during the winter but I guess during the summer they're all busy doing the long hall ops...
Nope, next long haul delivery will be the 787s (unless they cancel them!). I think they may also be adding extra A321s as they expand their scheduled business.
When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!

They must be reducing their long haul operations for this summer then, being one aircraft down on last year. Shame there's not more chance of getting on one of the A330's. Guess the A300's will have to do lol

Quoting bmiEMA19 (Reply 4): They must be reducing their long haul operations for this summer then,
Monarch don't operate a great deal of long haul flights anyway. Last summer their A330s and 767 were operating regular charter/scheduled services to Antalya, Corfu, Larnaca, Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor, Kos, Catania, Arrecife, Preveza and Malaga. In fact there were only eight weekly long haul services last summer.
