Hi. I'm new to the forums. I'm currently a CFI student. My checkride coming up in a few weeks. I want to work for the major airliners one day, but I'm not sure what route I should take to get there. I currently have around 250 total hours. I'm only 19 right now, so I figured if I flight instructor until I'm 23, I'll have the entry level aeronautical experience for an ATP type rating. What are your recommendations to become a major airline captain? Also, is there anything else I should know? Sorry if this sounds a little vague. I can provide more information if needed. Thanks in advance.
