I happened to be at lunch and was watching the planes come into DEN around 6:38pm (landing from the south) today and observed an odd looking A320/19 here in DEN.

It had and asterek "*" on the tail, which was white and the forward tail was in baby blue. The nose was white that turned into a baby blue color.

Two questions: Who is the operator and what is it doing at DEN?

Thanks in advance.

Is that the airline in Mexico "Interjet"? That's the only thing that I can think of...

A charter, perhaps?

The DEN F9 C-Check operation has been gone since Feb 27, 2010. For the moment, the Airbus c-check is being outsourced, IIRC until the company can find the manpower to begin MKE c-check.

There are no contract heavy mx in DEN. I think this might be a charter flight.
