Curaçao was never a cargo destination, but just a tech stop for fuel and crew.

RUH is indeed new, the 747 fleet traded this destination for SAW, which will now see an MD11 on its way to NBO.

And another one... The list of passenger destinations gets shorter and shorter every year. I bet that sooner or later they will stop flying passenger services completely.

Perhaps because it's a (former) KL-Cargo route.

But KL schedules show MD11F to IST not SAW.

How many passenger jets does Martinair-Holland currently has? It's a shame they are slowly dying...

RIyadh is listed at KL cargo website as a KL flight, so its not being marketed as MP nor is IST which is also showing as a KL destination.

There have been speculations about this since September, when MP dropped MIA in favor of MCO.

I read in another thread that MP is now operating the KLM 747F fleet. Are they just supplying the crews, or are they operating the flights in their own right?

The ERF fleet is on both the KL and MP AOC, but MP has operational control. Crews are mixed, working according MP-procedures. At present, just under 60 blue pilots are on loan to MP.

On a side note: Martinair Cargo has turned a profit over the last two quarters.

Odd that MP/KL schedueles dont list SAW, as for RUH is it code share for KL?

That is correct, it was a tech stop but why did MP Cargo stop this tech stop in CUR? I got a chance to photograph them in Curacao in January this year, see my photo in below link:

LH Cargo still has the fuel stop in CUR.

Also, when will they start receiving the A330 and where are they coming from? Will they be newly built or secondhand aircraft?

From what I can remember these flights are normally routed through Puerto Rico, but there were some issues there and some flights were temporarily routed through CUR. MP chose to fly through BQN because there's cargo to be picked up there.

Quoting A388 (Reply 14):

Not in the foreseeable future. The 767 fleet will stick around until at least the end of 2011.

And BQN is also cheaper compared to SJU?

Perhaps. The fact that BQN's runway is almost 600m longer than the longest runway at SJU will also help.
