Quoting LIPZ (Reply 3): Wataniya is not exactly a LCC, they offer premium economy, business class, FFP...
Indeed. Due to a mixed cabin - with premium economy its lowest class - its seating density is very low at just 122 seats. In comparison, G9 has 162 seats, and W6 (OK, not a Middle Eastern carrier, but for comparative purposes) 180 seats (the maximum). And due to its superior offerings, includes:
Sheikh Saad Terminal Guest Services:
Valet parking and porter service
Short, convenient check-in times
Lounge with wireless internet and refreshments
Concierge service for travel arrangements
Leisure shopping facilities
Professional guest service agents
Quick arrival from aircraft to customs
Additional First Class guest services:
Arrival and departure limousine service
Exclusive lounge with complimentary catering and refreshments
Prayer rooms, quiet lounge, and family area
Fast-track immigration and security
VIP shuttle transport to aircraft for boarding
I don't know why they refer to KW as an LCC. They describe themselves as a premium airline.
I've flown them twice, both in F and Y, and I can tell it's not an LCC by any way, it compares only to full service airlines. Seat pitch in Y is very generous. I'm 6' and I can sit comfortably. Their food is great as well.
