From what I know so far, they are doing OK in domestic flights. International flights to the US are the same. Personally, I don't suspect them making a comeback anytime soon thus not introducing any new routes or reinstating the older routes they had once before. If anything, they would probably cut a few more based on profit and popularity. Too bad. I really like that airline and hoped for more success to them.

they are flying to Vietnam in July I think. They have flight to Honk Kong from Laong(north of Manila). They also brought back flights from Manila to Vancouver, Manila to Sydney and a new flight from Vancouver to San Fransico on a A340. Check the site to www.philippineair.com

I really do like that airline since it's my hometown airline. But I must admit, their website is not the greatest. I guess they didn't take usability and convenience into consideration when the webmaster built the site.

Would be great if they leased the MD-11 again to do the EWR service... because it would go via YVR both ways  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Then I could see the A340 and MD-11  Laugh out loud
I would like to know the load factors on the MNL-YVR-MNL run (not including the extension to SFO).
