Emirates flies to just about every major (and some not so major) airport in Europe. One major hub missing from this list is Amsterdam.

Does anyone know why?

They do fly cargo into AMS (though I've heard that's under a contract with Atlas)  Smile
I have some pictures of their 747 freighters, none in the queue though.

I was thinkin about same thing. AMS is VERY major airport in europe. I do not have a clue why emirates dont fly there. Would be nice to see Emirates 777-200/300 in AMS !!

Yup, Emirates Skycargo fly there with a B744F (N408MC) leased from Atlas air.

True ....this thing puzzles me as well as to why AMS is not served by EK.
Interesting that KLM is now operating 14 times a week out of DXB!!

A330-200 passenger service will commence late this year or early next year.

I'm still not sure why it took so long.
