Sadly these 'tartan' threads never seem to last long due to the generally slow pace of progress in Scottish civil aviation, but worth another try?
What's happening in Scotland this month?
New routes -
EDINBURGH - FR have just started flying to Tampere. Though not starting this month, new routes from FR commencing in May will include Faro, Kaunas, Lübeck, Marrakech and Paris-Beauvais. Aer Arann also commencing service to Derry in May and Flybe to start a new service to Manston, Kent. Jet2 will be starting Faro, Palma and Dubrovnik shortly. LH will be adding DUS to its EDI schedule in the next few weeks also. BCN will also be reconnected to EDI courtesy of two carriers - Spanair and Vueling, and Norwegian Air Shuttle will add ARN from early May. Easyjet adds Lisbon from the first week of May.
GLASGOW - Recent improvements to schedules to Ireland with the switching off Aer Arann's Donegal service from PIK to GLA, plus Aer Lingus Regional now serving GLA at a much improved frequency, and also adding a Cork service. Some charter expansion this year to make up for the lost capacity following the demise of Globespan.

Sorry to be negative! But......What is the latest on Highland Airways and also the ongoing controversy between the credit card processor and FlyGlobespan. Isn't the latter going to be resurrected. The former seems doomed - sadly for all those concerned.
Loads on the DUB- GLA flights I've taken (4 over the last 4 days) were quite healthy - so that seems good.
