Are There PTV's In Korean Air's Economy Class?

I recently called a Korean Air agent and she told me that there are NO ptv's in Korean Air. I dont know if shes lying or not, by can someone please tell me if there are PTV's in economy? And can someone please give me the flight numbers for the planes that do have PTV's?

KE does have PTV's on just a few 747-400's.....maybe 1 or 2 of there 747-400's,so it's rare u will have the PTV's if u fly on KE but soon they will be put on the entire 747-400 fleet!!!!!!

Actually about 1/2 the KE 744 fleet has PTV's now and about 1/4 of the 777 have them. Most 777-300. So yes KE does have PTV's in Economy Class but only on flights to Paris, NZ, JFK and i think LHR. Europe, Oceania flights in other words!!

That is a very old picture of the Korean Air interior. They now have adjustable Headrests, Phones, and PTV's. The colour of the Tra tables are White with Blue Strips on them!!

I flew with them on the JFK-ANC-SEL-HKG flight and return in January. I was on four different 744s and none of them had PTV's. It sure would've been nice to have them on the SEL-JFK sector. The entertainment you'll see is what everyone else will see. Usually two movies and short programming like Korean News and Korean sitcom's. All in all though the airline is very good value for the great fares they have. Give them a try...PTV's or not!

PS...it was stated on another thread about deplaning in ANC. Yes you can just fly from JFK-ANC. We dropped some passengers off and some got on at ANC. Mostly army or marine guys heading to Seoul. It was a bit shady in ANC though. There were family allowed inside the terminal to greet those pax disembarking at ANC. I thought this was some sort of international pax sterile area...apparently not. I could've easily passed them my plastic reboarding card and they could've went to Seoul without having passports checked, etc. I thought this was a bit odd. It was nice to walk around the ANC terminal...duty free and chinese fast food. Pretty interesting.

You can check their Korean-text website and search through archives of past inflight magazine. You'll see seat backs with PTVs. I had an acquaintance of mine who was fortunate enough to board on a plane that was equipped with PTVs in economy section. It was ICN-ANC-YYZ.

I honestly can't say for myself how good they are compared to similar offerings from SQ, CX and so forth. Acquaintance of mine did say that it was a useful feature, but it didn't like he made heavy use of it at all.

Well I've not seen any PTV's in any of KE 772's when they have been on the ground at AKL and I've been in several of them, don't know about 773's.

I was thinking bout it, for people who have an Exit seat with no head-back seating in front of them, do they have PTV's? Or do they have the similar PTV's from First Class where it comes out of your seat.
