this area is Terminal 1 and the El Al maintenance area which would explain DIJKKIJK's suggestion of a technical visit. also seeing as the flight departed to DOH may suggest the flight departed empty to operate the scheduled service RA230 back to KTM. just a guess.

That interesting. flying from DOH. usually arab countries have nothing to do with Israel....... i wonder how Qatar aviation authority gave permission for this flight..........

Qatar and Oman used to have trade and other links to Israel till a few years ago, Israeli FM visited Doha officially for something. UAE also hosted Israel at some summit last year or so.

What routing must have this flight taken to Doha? Red Sea or Saudi airspace?
