AC 167/13, was routed YYT-YHZ-YOW-YYC.
On the last leg of the flight, a slat/flap problem occured on departure. Continuation to YYC was not an option, so a decision was made to divert to YYZ, as opposed to returning to YOW. This was done to reduce landing weight as well as the passengers could be better accomodated from YYZ, than YOW to continue to YYC.
Most passengers were re-accomodated on many YYZ-YYC flights, some stayed with the original flight which arrived several hours late.
