I've heard several rumors floating around saying that AirTran is willing to give Daytona Beach another go! If they come back - will they play their cards differently? Focus on a just a couple ATL frequencies but then branch off to other cities that Daytona does not have service to?

Not all of us can be heroes, some of us can only stand on the sidewalk and clap as they go by.

I don't necessarily believe it, but it would fit with this rumor:

Possible AirTran Expansion?

DAB is a very interesting market, people love to bash DL and bitch and moan about the high fares offered by the allmighty DL. However, that being said because DL has been in the market for so long it has alot of loyal FF whom are not willing to switch over to someone else. Add to the recipe DL lowering it's fares when FL entered the market and out of DAB went FL. Additionally, MCO is just an hour drive away so Im not quite sure why FL would like to give the market a second try. Good luck to FL if they decide to enter the market again, but they should try another market.

Chepos
