I wanted to use the term 'joint ventures' but didn't want to confuse people.
I'm talking about businesses with different airlines holding a stake. I find it interesting when a business is held by competing airlines, e.g. AF, LH, IB have stakes in Amadeus. I suppose if everyone is doing well from the venture then who cares?!!
Opodo is another example that comes to mind, as it is owned by tonnes of European airlines.

ATPCO, Airline Tariff Publishing Company, located adjacent to IAD airport, processes and electronically distributes the majority of fares for about 500 airlines, covering about 97% of global airline traffic. They are jointly owned by 17 airlines, listed on the following page. http://www.atpco.net/atpco/aboutoc.shtml
