Video up on BMI's website of the newly refurbished domestic (UK + RoI) lounge at LHR-T1 The London Room. Similar look and feel to the relatively new international Great British Lounge (formerly Number One Heathrow).

The London Room

The London Room, bmi's UK and Ireland lounge at London Heathrow.

The London Room is available to Gold and Silver Diamond Club members, bmi's frequent flyer programme and also to all customers travelling on the recently introduced Flexible Economy and Economy Extra tickets.

Features include

* Improved business facilities
* Redesigned relaxation areas
* Modernised refreshments
* Coffee-to-go.

Great day to launch (refurb was on schedule). Shame there are no passengers using it this weekend

Is there a terminal map somewhere that shows the exact locations of British Midland's (that's what I call them now) lounges at T1?

And what I wonder as well is why Star Gold card holders do not have access to the London room. Any logic behind that? Very Star Alliance-unlike...

Not very clear from the following pdf from www.heathrowairport.com

Great British Lounge (international excl. RoI) is over gate 5 (Old BA domestic lounge)

London Room (domestic and RoI) is in the domestic pier between gate 2 (was BHD gate, is now international) and the gate 8 lounge
