What's happening with all the flight attendants (DL, AA, CO, US, UA) whose international flights are being cancelled? Are they reassigned to fly domestically in the meantime? Laid off? Are they getting paid?

All that would vary by airline. At Delta (PMNW) there is no International FA and Domestic FA group as we are qualified to fly all. The flight attendants whose flights have been canceled can either lose the pay, go time available which is basically like reserve and they can fly to get their credit back. If they chose Time Available and they dont make up the flying credit they will still get paid for the time lost on their canceled flights because they chose the Time Available option. With the Pay for Fly option they lose it all but could pick up whatever they wish to make up for it or not pick up anything at all. No one is getting laid off. And they are getting paid according what they fly.

BA, BMI and EK crew are getting their basic pay but not their allowance (a significant part of income for EK and recent BA starters). On the other hand a BA crew in NRT since tuesday or Wednesday have been receieving their daily allowance!!
